Justin Muchoney of Seven Fields is one step closer to becoming Chief Magic Official of the Disney Parks.
The 28-year-old church music director is one of three contenders selected out of 10 semi-finalists to visit Walt Disney World on April 17 for the final magical competition. More than 500,000 online voters viewed his 60-second audition video and selected him among their favorite three.
The Chief Magical Official, or CMO, will work part time during Disney’s The Year of a Million Dreams celebration. Among the duties are spreading good will and attending special events. There were more than 1,300 applicants for the position.
