Ma! There’s Nothing to Do Here! by Barbara Park, illustrated by Vivana Garofoli, $15.99. It’s hard to believe that Barbara Park, so widely beloved for her inventive Junie B. Jones books, could set the bar much higher, but that’s just what she does in this absolutely splendid picture book.
