What do you call Cap Teh in English? I am not talking about Susu Cap Teko. Cap Teh. So what do you call them in English? Feather with nail and rubber? Okay I give up. Who cares what they call them in English anyway. But according to google, it%26#8217;s called Chinese Shuttlecock. Ancient Chinese are an innovation bunch. Not only they have their own cock they even have their own chinese sausage too.
But let us just call them Cap Teh for convenient sake. Playing Cap Teh was like our school sport. Although it%26#8217;s not an official sport but most of the students from my batch plays them every day. Basically there are two methods of playing cap teh. One of the way is juggling. You know, like how they juggle with football. Another method is more tactical and it was also the most popular method at that time. Once again, I can%26#8217;t really remember what they call them either because we just happened to call them cap teh in general.
We hardly play with the juggling method after all. The second method was more exciting. It%26#8217;s usually played in 5 VS 5 method and you throw you cap teh against your opponent. Once you kill your opponents, they will be transfered to the backline of the the opposing team. The process will be repeated until you finish off the frontline of your opponents. The first team to finish off the frontline is the winner. Do you understand?
Well no worries, because I don%26#8217;t understand my own explaination either lol. I%26#8217;ve always been very bad at giving explaination anyway. I%26#8217;ll skip the technical part. Basically you just have to shoot their sorry ass with that gigantic cap teh. THAT is the best part. You can roughly imagine the pain it%26#8217;s going to inflict once you are in good position to slam that rubber on their ass in gravity defying mode. However, there%26#8217;s a catch. It%26#8217;s not advisable to attack them when they are in position standing right in front of you.
That%26#8217;s because it%26#8217;s the best position for your opponent to grab the cap teh directly with their barehands. Why do I mean by direct? It means you need to catch the cap teh without that thing touches the ground. If the opponent manage to catch the shuttle cock with their bare hands, the thrower will be considered %26#8216;dead%26#8217;. So you only shoot them when they are standing out of position.
So have any of you ever played this game before?
