Day Two
Now that you are all rested up, it’s time to get out and explore Tucson’s natural setting. Start the day with drive through Saguaro National Park and a hike through the Sonoran Desert landscape at the park or at the Tucson Botanical Gardens, where you can brush up on your desert plant identification.
If you’re feeling adventurous, take a jeep tour or a hot air balloon ride for an even better look at the surrounding beauty. If something more relaxed is your style, tee up for 18-holes of golf or try one of the Native American-inspired body treatments at one of Tucson signature spas.
After supping on light meal, try taking a turn on the dance floor at Club Congress or pick up tickets for a show at one of the downtown venues.
Day Three
Even through it might be hard to choose from so many things to do, be sure to get in touch with Tucson’s Old West history with a stop at the Arizona Historical Society Museum and a trip to Old Tucson Studios.
After an afternoon visit to Colossal Caves, an old outlaw hideout among other things, and an afternoon horseback ride through the Tucson foothills, you should be ready for some fine dining while watching the sun set over Old Pueblo.
