The countdown to the witching hour gets into full swing this weekend with a
host of Halloween family activities.
Nature lovers can uncover the creatures that only come out at night as
Ulster Wildlife Trust stages an evening of spooky activities at Delamont
Country Park, outside Killyleagh tomorrow.Visitors will discover
more about the wildlife on a twilight walk through the woods from 5.30?7pm,
including bats, moths and badgers. Meanwhile, National Trust
properties will be throwing open their doors as they host a series of
ghostly events, with everything on the menu from fancy dress to murder
mystery.Spooky storytelling and children’s entertainment features
at the ghostly fancy dress at Ardress House tomorrow from 2-6pm.
Crom Demesne in Co Fermanagh celebrates with fireworks and fun family
activities tonight from 7-10pm and a Halloween Craft Fair takes place at
Florence Court, Co Fermanagh, on Sunday from 1-5pm. Meanwhile, the
Children’s Workshops at Mount Stewart, Co Down, from tomorrow to Monday will
be a mix of fun packed art and craft days for 6-to-12- year-olds, with

Meanwhile, Derry City Council is laying on a five-day extravaganza with the
Banks of the Foyle Halloween Carnival from tomorrow, including Haunted
Happenings at the Tower Museum and Ghost-bus-tours. The Playhouse
Theatre at St Columb’s Hall will host a Monster Mash Fun Days programme
