Sometimes, words fall short when describing a moment, be that moment personal or otherwise.
When last we looked, the left in this country started out in 2000 by accusing then president-elect George W. Bush of stealing the election, and then proceeded to call him a liar for nearly every statement regarding the war on terror he has ever made.
No big deal, right? I mean, we are talking about a political entity in this country ?the modern-day left ?who not only say anything they want against Bush, but revel in its causticity.
So, without further ado, for words do escape me here, President George W. Bush will be assassinated in a made for TV docudrama right before our eyes.
One cannot help but think of the evil and hate that pollutes the mind of those who would think of such a concept. A sitting president is to be “killed” before the eyes of the world in a docudrama that was written for nothing more than the reasons that guide hate and evil.
The Bible, a testament to God’s knowledge of man and just what he is capable of, encapsulates what this writer feels upon hearing of this exercise of pure and unadulterated evil and hate:
“A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil.” (Luke 6:45)
On September 10th, the same day America will have a Freedom Walk in Washington, D.C. to commemorate the five-year anniversary of 9/11 and the horrific loss of life, the Toronto Film Festival will air the first showing of this liberal snuff flick, “Death of a President.”
It will be seen on UK TV in October of this year, and then subsequently distributed in America and abroad. One can suppose that the timing of its release ?the day before 9/11 ?was purely an oversight, or mistake in judgment. But that would be admitting that these people actually contain a shred of decency within them.
Still, we have seen the left in America act much the same at times when talking of Bush and the GOP.
Former US Rep. Carrie Meek (D, FLA.) amply displayed what lives within the hearts of Democrats and liberals by telling delegates to the Florida Democratic convention in 2004 that: “We should be ready for revenge!”
Is the fictional but possibly hoped for assassination of a sitting president the kind of revenge Rep. Meek had in mind? The question is not out of the realm of possibility these days when speaking of the American left.
But revenge seems to be a rallying cry for the Democrats, and it has divided this country. To make matters worse, America is also under attack by the mainstream media, who, can there be any real doubt, are out and out leftists themselves? The “drive-by” media not only destroys the very fabric of America by its continuous assault on its morals and values, but it also takes much pleasure in assailing the men and women who serve the country through America’s Armed forces.
Clearly, a pattern of malicious and ugly anger has long been established. In August, 2004, Nicholson Baker released a 115-page novella titled “Checkpoint,” the first tale of how the book’s main character, “Jay,” tells his friend, “Ben,” that he is going to assassinate President Bush. Though this was fiction, Baker’s feelings regarding his “discontent” with Bush are insanely real, as anyone who reads the book will be “rewarded” with such penetrating prose as: “I’m gonna kill that bastard,” and “He’s one dead armadillo.”

So the left, be they in America or abroad, have clearly fantasized over killing President Bush. I guess the motto of the day for them might be “If you can’t beat’em, kill’em,” or some such call to arms.
Contemplating the murder of a sitting president is cruel, and it is outrageous. It is not fun. It is not educational. It is not entertaining to most sane-thinking people. Instead, the depravity displayed by this film maker is on a par with the very terrorist this president seeks to protect America from.
Whatever happened to the world that made sense when it came to patriotism and understanding right from wrong, or good from evil? The far left within the UK seem every bit as politically psychotic as America’s own home-grown fanatics, like Michael Moore and Air America’s Al Franken. British filmmaker Gabriel Range can now claim a spot at the table of the far left, as his docudrama, “Death of a President” plans to make its big splash in a few short days.
A story from the AP goes into some detail about how Gabriel Range will portray the “life” and “death” of President Bush, including the use of “actors and digital manipulation of real footage to show a fictional account of Bush being gunned down after delivering a speech in Chicago.” (www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,211591,00.html)
Though the White House declined to issue a statement regarding the British station, More4 releasing the film at the upcoming Toronto Film Festival in September, one wishes White House spokesman Tony Snow would, just once, tell the world in no uncertain terms just how utterly devoid of any sense of decency one would have to be to concoct such a film.
Other events that correlate with the release of “Death of a President” include plans for in-person conversations with U.S. filmmakers Michael Moore, John Waters and John Cameron Mitchell ?leftist and Bush-haters all ?in a filmmakers sidebar, or panel discussion, in Toronto. One wonders if the conversation among these “learned liberal giants” of the film industry will actually broach the business that they’re in, or instead turn into what it most likely will, an “I hate this damn president” session.
Conscientious people need to understand the workings of today’s modern day left, and this latest outrage against not just President Bush, but America itself, should be treated as a lesson. Throughout its history, the left’s behavior has mirrored the political ideology of socialism and even communism. We have seen this ideology fail over and over again throughout the world. Yet, it is the ideology of failure the left still preaches.
Remember this when you go to pull the lever in the November elections. The left, which is a big part of the Democratic Party, are sensationally unfit to run any country, much less the United States of America.
Kill the president? Why not? The Democrats and the mainstream media, along with their comrades in the “Bolshevik performing arts,” department scattered about the world, have been stabbing Bush in the back since he was first elected by the American people.
Eric Staal of Republicans Abroad in London said: “I wonder if they (Americans) are celebrating the idea that the president could be assassinated.”
Wonder no more. British Filmmaker Gabriel Range will certainly outrage the majority of people in America, and further politicize the war on terror. But maybe people like Range and those that support his work, like the American left, do all of the rest of us a favor.
Remember just who stands to reap the benefit of voter docility and apathy in November. For if the truth be told, America’s biggest enemy is the wild-eyed left that fantasizes over the killing of a sitting US President.
