They may be pushing 40, but members of the boy band New Kids on the Block have reunited and plan to release a new album and go on tour.
“The fan response to this has been incredible,” band member Donnie Wahlberg told the Boston Herald.
Wahlberg, 38, said he was persuaded to get back together with his former band mates - Joey McIntyre, brothers Jordan and Jonathan Knight and Danny Wood - when they decided to record new music.
At the height of its popularity in the 1980s and early ’90s, New Kids sold 70 million albums and millions of dollars in merchandise and spawned a Saturday morning cartoon.
