American Visionary Arts Museum open for MLK Day

The American Visionary Arts Museum, normally closed on Mondays, will be open tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. with special programming for Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Admittance will be free.

Guided tours of the museum at 800 Key Highway in Federal Hill will be available at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.; the current exhibit is titled: All Faiths Beautiful. Also, there will be demonstrations in the “Thou Art Creative” room from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., a birthday cake at noon and a demonstration by a musician to makes instruments out of trash at 1 p.m.
