Mesquite Library to feature best-selling author

Best-selling author Laurie R. King will be at Mesquite Library this weekend to promote her latest novel. Touchstone, set in England during the General Strike of 1926, allowed King to explore terrorism in a historical setting.

King, who last visited the Valley in 2006, anticipates that fans of the Kate Martinelli series, or the historical mysteries featuring Mary Russell and Sherlock Holmes, will enjoy the new novel.
